Everything You Should Know About CanaryTags

1. What is CanaryTags?

CanaryTags is a connected shipment visibility solution that uses low-power wireless tags and LarkNet technology to turn available location events into usable shipment history.

The tags transmit low-power wireless signals that may be detected and relayed by compatible participating devices. Location updates are generated as participating devices encounter the tag, providing valuable visibility at points throughout the shipment journey. Update frequency reflects the route, surrounding device availability, tag placement and operating environment.
As participating devices encounter a tag, available location events are relayed and organized into shipment history. This helps teams review movement, handoffs and exceptions. Update availability varies by route, surrounding device availability, tag placement and operating environment.

CanaryTags tags do not require recurring cellular subscription fees. Platform, integration or other service pricing, when applicable, is addressed separately.

Deployment varies by model. Certain models are designed for repeat deployment, while CT Standard may be used as a cost-effective single-use tag where recovery is impractical.

CanaryTags supports air cargo operators, freight forwarders, 3PLs, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and organizations managing high-value, time-sensitive or complex shipments.
